Last 2 days of the week

Hello there! This week is flying by and there is SO much to do as we have a move up test this week.  Thursday  Speaking: 5 minute presentation. You have to convince me why your city is AMAZING. You can use "Use of English 3-6: Oral Presentation" for ideas and some tips.  Writing: come prepared to write for 30 minutes.   Friday  Listening / Grammar / Reading: all will be done in class.  HOMEWORK Prepare your presentation.  Class notes - Phrasal verbs: 4-6 Defining & Non-defining Relative Clauses

Strong Role Models

HOMEWORK Today is International Women's Day - for homework, I'd like you to learn about two strong female role models one from your country (national) and the other from anywhere in the world (international).  Be prepared to talk about them to the class.

HOMEWORK Finish the exercise "Use of English: 1-7".
